The booth will be located next to the stadium’s TigreTienda and will be available 24/7 for Club Tigres collaborators, fans, and all women in need of the space.
Club Tigres is proud to announce another initiative that will lead our institution towards being as inclusive and welcoming as possible by installing the first lactation booth in a soccer stadium in Mexico.
The booth was donated by Arca Continental’s Inclusion and Diversity Team to Fundación Tigres as part of their generosity and commitment to promoting inclusion and access to the community.
Bianca Sierra, a current Tigres Femenil player who is expecting twins, and Hugo Ayala, Sports Manager, were present at the booth’s ribbon cutting alongside Arca Continental Diversity and Inclusion Team: Diana Oyervides (Administration Director); Beatriz Eugenia Simón Leal (Benefits Manager); and Cecilia Ochoa.
“I am so proud to be part of Club Tigres and their commitment to equal opportunities and respect towards the needs of mothers and pregnant people who wish to breastfeed their children in a private and safe place,” Bianca Sierra stated during the ceremony.
The lactation booth will reside next to our TigreTienda and will have heating and air conditioning, a minibar, light connectors, and everything necessary for comfortable and safe breastfeeding. Women will also be free to use the booth to pump breast milk should it align with their schedule and store their milk there accordingly while they enjoy the match.
Those needing the booth will be able to go to the reception at Gate 13 of the stadium, fill out the registration form and leave their INE and/or official identification during their time at the booth.
