Club Tigres Femenil and Club America to face off against Real Madrid at the Estadio Universitario And The Estadio Azteca

Club Tigres and Club América continue to take firm steps towards the internationalization of Mexican women’s soccer and are pleased to announce a group of friendlies against one of the most important teams in the world, Real Madrid C.F.

The first match will take place on August 29th between Club Tigres Femenil and Real Madrid C.F at the Volcán at 8:00 p.m local time, and the second on September 3rd against Club América Femenil at the Estadio Azteca at 2:00 PM local time.

Real Madrid, a club with global recognition and long history of success, began its activity in the Spanish Women’s League only in the 2020-2021 season and since then has finished as runner-up on two occasions and third on another. They also recently reached the Quarterfinals in the Women’s Champions League during the 2021/2022 season.

Club Tigres Femenil and Club América Femenil are both innovative leaders within Mexico and has sought to host various international matches with highly renowned European teams to help strengthen women’s soccer in our country and amplifying the league to its own global level.

Club Tigres Femenil and Club América will begin selling tickets for their respective matches shortly, giving fans the opportunity to enjoy a couple of incredible matches against one of the most iconic teams in the world.
