Club Tigres recognizes Hispanic Heritage month with month-long activations aimed at building a connection to the multicultural fan

Tigres is set to release various digital features and on-site activations from September 15th to October 15th.

Club Tigres will kick off Hispanic Heritage Month with various physical and digital activations that will serve to honor the Hispanic roots of our fans who live in the United States, as well as launch an exclusive specialty shirt as part of the month-long campaign. This shirt from adidas will be worn in commemoration by MLS teams and Club Tigres UANL’s Men’s and Women’s teams (the only Liga MX institution to take part in the campaign). 

Tigres Femenil will be sporting the commemorative apparel on September 15th prior to their match against Queretaro. The men’s team will also be wearing the jersey during their pre-match warm-ups for the Campeones Cup match on September 27th against LAFC in Los Angeles. 

There will also be various digital features released throughout the month, including personalized spotlights that allow Tigres players to talk about the pride they feel about their culture, community outreach initiatives in the United States, and a new look at Fan Friday – highlighting various stories from Tigres fans living in the United States which will also be published on Tigres’ various media channels. 

Throughout the United States, Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated to recognize all the contributions that those born in the country but with roots in Mexico, Central America, South America and the Spanish-speaking countries of the Caribbean, have made to the society and culture of that country. Club Tigres is proud to be part of a campaign that helps recognize such a huge part of its fanbase.
