One thing that characterizes sports collectors worldwide is the purchasing and exchanging of cards of our favorite players. That is why Tigres and Sorare signed a new sponsorship to serve all those fans who today resort to technology to make a digital version of those famous cards through non-fungible tokens.
With this alliance, Sorare joins Tigres as an Official NFT Fantasy Football Game Partner to give the incomparables from around the world the opportunity to collect, exchange and play with digital cards from the current 2022-2023 season.
The partnership will allow Tigres to increase its international reach by engaging new audiences of players and fans from around the world in markets such as North America, Europe, and Asia, where Sorare is experiencing rapid growth. It also creates a new revenue stream by establishing a new category of gaming licenses (non-fungible token licenses).
With this, Tigres continues to increase its digital presence, not only with its new collection of NFTs but through this collectible game that will keep the fan close with different and creative experiences.
Sorare combines digital collections with Fantasy Sports to bring fans closer to the game they love. Since its founding in 2018, the company has experienced incredible demand and growth, reaching more than 2 million users worldwide with 260 associated sports organizations.
How does the fantasy game work?
In Sorare, users, called Managers, create lineups composed of 5 players: a goalkeeper, a defender, a midfielder, a striker, and another outfield player.
Managers enter these lineups in different tournaments, each with their entry requirements, such as the age of the players or the region in which their club plays.
Players come on different levels. Each player has 1000 Limited, 100 Rare, 10 Super Rare, and a Unique. Managers compete with each other to collect these cards in the Sorare Marketplace.
