Katty already has a nose for goal

At just 20 years of age, she has already forged a close partnership with goals. Katty Martínez is the second highest scorer in the Women’s Liga MX after scoring a hat-trick in the 10th Monterrey Derby, to reach ten goals so far in the Apertura 2018tournament.

The Nuevo León native has already achieved, in her third tournament with Tigres Women, a total of 22 goals in 30 games played, which translates into an average of .73 per match throughout her career, placing her among the players with the greatest goal-scoring potential in the Liga, despite prolonged absences owing to her constant call-ups to the Under-20 National Team.

However, she is on fire in this tournament, with an average of 1.43 goals per match, having scored ten times in just seven games.

Katty has played 24 Liga matches in which she hasscored 21 goals, with this tournament being the best of her career, having achieved seven in Apertura 2017, four in Clausura 2018 and ten in the currentApertura 2018. She scored the remaining goal in the Second Leg of the Final against Rayados.
